Dear Parents/Guardians;

Bradley Elementary teachers, staff and myself would like to say ‘Thank you!’  You have done an amazing job supporting your child, your school, and your community during this unprecedented time.  This has not been an extended break...in fact many students, teachers, and parents have worked harder in the past few weeks than we would on a ‘normal’ school schedule.  We recognize that this has been difficult, and we applaud your efforts to make the best of it.  We appreciate the effort you have put into ensuring your child(ren) continued to learn even though we were not able to provide on-site instruction at school.  The attached AMI page, which you will notice looks a little different, is our final packet.  You may return this completed page at any time by placing it in the ‘return’ box outside the school’s main entrance.

And here it is….the end of the school year.  This time of year is as exciting for teachers and school staff as it is for students.  Although we will not be able to have our typical ‘End of Year’ activities, we would like to celebrate ‘social distancing’ style.  We will have a ‘Drive-Thru Goodbye’ (weather permitting) on May 19th from 9:00 am until Noon. You will need to enter Central Avenue from Seventh St (near the bus barn); please do not use the entrance in front of the High School.    Teachers will be set-up in stations based on grade level.  Stop at any station needed, remain in your vehicle, and we will bring your items to your car.  This is a great time to wave and tell all of your teachers ‘good-bye’ for the summer break.  We will be distributing Spring pictures, yearbooks, personal belongings from student desks, lost and found items, and report cards at this time.  We will also have snack bags and treats while supplies last.  We look forward to seeing you!

Sincerely,

Dena Weems

Principal, Bradley Elementary School
